This is a poster advertising the
inbetweeners film, this uses one camera shot to show the inexperience of the "boys" this shows the ambition of the boys to become men on this “teenagers lads holiday” we can tell this from the
background of the poster of clubs and bars that are blurred to make it look
like they are moving fast. This suits how teenagers are always fast moving and
growing up fast. The “boys” are not looking all directly at the camera this
shows how and what they are thinking. The facial expressions show a lot about
the characters such as Neil (far right) is looking aimlessly into the
distance showing he is not the brightest character but he is always looking for a
good time. Jay (middle right) has very confident smirk on his face meaning he
is very confident like most 17 year olds, but he is wearing his old England shirt
showing he still has the child within him but has
the biggest ambition for the holiday. Simon (middle left) is not directly
looking at the camera this is because he is in love and doesn't care about
anything or anyone else; this also typifies teenagers falling in love for the
first time. He is wearing very young and modest clothing as he isn't the most confident.
Will (far left) is the smart one you can tell this by the clothing as he dresses
before his age but he is the least confident and least experienced and he doesn't know what he’s doing there with
the rest of them, we can tell this from the facial expressions. The location where the film is set is on a clubstrip in Malia, the colours are exaggerated
with editing to make the poster more appealing and to show the reckless behavior
in a fast pased environment where
teenagers thrive.
